Dorian Mains (she/her/ella) is a Licensed Midwife (LM) specializing in out-of-hospital midwifery care. Dedicated to diverse family support, she brings extensive experience as a mother and stepmother to four children and as a caregiver to her 94-year-old uncle. Dorian taught parenting classes at a RIE/Waldorf preschool for 7 years, holds a BA in psychology from Antioch University, and is a certified yoga instructor after completing her 250HR YTT with Loyola Marymount University in 2014. She pursued her midwifery training at the Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery, viewing midwifery as a powerful tool for social justice and systemic change. Dorian is licensed by the Medical Board of California. Outside of her professional life, she finds spiritual grounding in her garden, where she nurtures her plant allies.
