Rachel (she/her) has a MA in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies from The Ohio State University and has been helping families as a doula since 2012. She carries over a decade’s worth of experience teaching in higher education and offers both private and community childbirth preparation classes for all pregnant people and families. Her practice centers on providing education and advocacy to families, helping them to navigate the transformative experience of childbirth and parenting. She works to create a calm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel cared for, so that even if things don’t go as planned, you will know all your options. When she isn’t at a birth or teaching a class, Rachel is off having adventures with her husband, their three daughters and her spirited Pomeranian, Frannie.
