Mothers’ Circles

"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." ~ Maya Angelou

These circles form an intimate community with whom you can connect, share, and explore the transformation that is occurring within you as you evolve as a mother. Join a circle of other mothers who are also being transformed by parenthood, sharing a space where personal transformation is the central theme of our group conversation.

This is not your typical mother's group. These groups are not a "bitch session," although open, tender, and deep sharing about the challenges of parenthood is welcome. We do not focus on parenting solutions, although exploring how to listen to your own wisdom will be encouraged and refined. These circles are not for complaining about your partner/husband, but exploring changing relationship dynamics will be addressed and supported. While discussing feeding issues and parenting challenges is valuable, what many mothers long for and find difficult to locate is a place for a depth of conversation beyond diapers and sleep. These circles offer to mothers just such a space.

You can do more than just survive new parenthood. You deserve to thrive!
Unplug, share, drop in, and connect with other mothers.

“Parenthood teaches us to be open to that which we do not ask for, desire, or control. I would argue, that it is precisely due to its ability to teach us to be open to the unbidden that parenthood has been called the greatest spiritual practice.”
